All-new Zeekr 009 Equipped with RoboSense M Platform Launched

On July 19, 2024, the all-new Geely's Zeekr 009 MPV equipped with RoboSense LiDAR officially launched in Hong Kong and would start its order delivery three days after launch. The all-new Zeekr 009, as an important member of the Zeekr luxury MPV family, breaks away from traditional practices to make a comprehensive iteration covering aspects in safety, endurance, control, and luxury.

In intelligent safety, the all-new Zeekr 009 is equipped with the RoboSense M platform, adopting Mobileye SuperVision's latest generation and activating the high-ways NZP (Navigation ZEEKR Pilot) driver-assistance system, which covers the cities of 95% of users. The RoboSense M platform, as the core sensor of the all-new Zeekr 009 intelligent driving perception system, provides powerful support for constructing a new benchmark for intelligent security.

The M platform can eliminate the effects of ambient light, enabling real-time collection of high-precision three-dimensional spatial data. This ensures effective detection of unknown obstacles and irregularly shaped vehicles and is suitable for hard light conditions, significantly enhancing the perception capabilities of the all-new Zeekr 009's intelligent driving system across various scenarios.

The RoboSense M platform is a forward-looking LiDAR designed for ADAS applications, adopting a self-developed 2D MEMS scanning architecture, with leading performance and compactness. The maximum detection range of the M platform can reach 200 meters, with a field of view angle of 120°×25°, which can cooperate with Mobileye SuperVision to perceive the surrounding traffic dynamics, thereby helping the all-new Zeekr 009 deal with various urban transportation scenarios, making the driving experience more comfortable.

Since November 2023, the RoboSense M platform has successively aimed Zeekr 007, the all-new Zeeker 001, Zeekr 009 Grand, and the all-new Zeekr 009 to unveil and order delivery, enabling hundreds of thousands of consumers to enjoy an intelligent, safe, and comfortable travel experience. According to Zeekr's official announcement, it first delivered over 20,000 vehicles in June 2024 and has delivered 87,870 vehicles for the first half year of 2024. It claims that Zeekr ranks the top among China's pure-electric vehicle brands at prices over 28,000 USD.
